  1. Ok everyone, I know this is random, but there's gotta be somebody out there who has traveled to Greece in the last 5 years.

I'm in a global understanding/tourism class. We have to plan an itinerary for a 10 day trip of Greece. What I need to know from any of you who've been there

    tell me:

    hot spots/attractions
    great restaurants
    where you stayed
overall feel of the country (anything welcomed here)
    travel experience (anything again)
    weather/language
any other info you'd like to offer

if you'd like you can send me an email at hittme123@yahoo.com

    Thank you so much

I have been to Korfu a Greece Island but that was 7 years ago.Well since I live in Germany and have some Greek friends they always say a have to do is Athens there is a lot to see especially since there was the olympic games in Greece last year.I cant really tell you restaurants nor hotels but I think Athen you have to see and there will always be a lot of things to do.What also is really nice is Chalkidiki(I hope spelling is right)they have beaches like in the carribean I like Korfu a lot there you have nice beaches, and one of the castles where Sissi used to go.The Greek people are very nice and outgoing and they of course talk greece.I guess some people more the younger Generation talks some English or German but I guess that is everywere where there is tourismn or like the big Citys like athens.Well I hope I could help a little bit-have fun on your trip(I hope I got it right and you are going ).

I've been and loved it...cann't remember the hotels tho, sorry. One of the most fun things was going on a cruise to the islands of Greece. I loved that and would try to stay on one if I went again. I loved the foods...they have a lot of places that have a dinner & traditional dancing. There was just some guy that would lead you to the place. The shopping on the placca is wonderful too!!! Oh and the coast!!! And the history!!!

    Have fun!!!! Lucky you!!!!!!!!!!

Crete, Rhodes, Athens...............what time of year are you going?
Remember that the Olympics will be there this summer so things will be quite crowded and booked in advance. Also, some of the islands are extremely hot, make sure that you can endure that type of weather.
