  1. Well what do you guys think about Kobe Bryant? Before all this buzzz about him in the news I really liked the guy and I thought he was a great role model for my son. You know this is sort of similar to Bill Clinton in the way of a person who is in the media versus the regular (Joe). If this was just a regular person would we really be all that interested? I don't condone what Kobe did by any means but the Man is still a Man . He is a human being. If Clinton were just the average Joe it wouldn't have blew up all over the place either. I think the media just loves to rag on people and their private lives. My heart really goes out to his poor.....wrong choice of words definitely not poor, let's see humiliated wife and their baby is only 6mos . It only takes a split moment a hot one at that to really ruin yourself.

What do you guys think about the whole issue? Just curious, I'm sure I may have set myself up.

Kobe is supposed to show in court today to hear what the judge has charged him with I think .

Well for the money she's getting out of it, I don't feel too sorry for her. I seriously doubt this is the first time the man has cheated on his wife (do you really think he's that unlucky? The first time he cheats he's accused of rape...). But frankly I don't care. I am not a sports fan, and it really doesn't affect me.

I never considered Kobe a role model.

Committing adultery is wrong. Saying "she wanted it" is pretty despicable. We have the right to say "no" at any time.

Saying "a man is still a man" is insulting to men in general. A real man doesn't cheat on his wife and a real man doesn't say "she wanted it" when she said no.

If she is lying, he still is not a real man for having sex with someone besides his wife.

So, all in all, STILL NOT A ROLE MODEL.

I wouldn't want my daughter's future husband to treat her this way and I'd beat the tar out of my sons if they did this.

I agree! Also, rape isnt about sex, it is about violent control. Rapists ought to be castrated in public so they can know the pain and humiliation the victims feel. I KNOW what it is like, and they really do not get punished enough, while the rest of us have to live with nightmares for the rest of our lives.

I honestly hadn't heard of the guy until just recently. Athletes and Hollywood stars are so overrated. IMO.

I hope he gets a fair trial. Innocent until proven guilty.

He is innocent until proven guilty.

Adultry seems to be more accepted in our society, which I think is sad, but I'm traditional that way.

I feel bad for his wife. She's probably going through emotional hell with all of this.

I guess I stuck my foot in my mouth with the man is still a man bit. What i was trying to say is not all men are dogs however, they have been known to cheat on their wives.being on the road and all. I believe in being in a committed relationship but in the real world it's bound to happen cheating that is. I have been married to my husband for 8yrs this Aug4th made it to 8. I'm not going to say it's been a piece of cake either cuz it hasn't been. I have not cheated on my husband and I don't believe he's cheated on me. You just have to trust your mate and be ready to commit to someone when you choose to marry them. I did not know that she said he raped her that's a whole different can of worms there. Anyway the guy has really grown from a basketball stand point and he had been clean up until now and he was a good role model. I hope he has a fair trial and all.

Let's be honest though don't you guys think some of these women are only out for the money? We really don't know who to blame. This is only my two cents. Only God knows the truth all we can do is speculate.

Let me go on record for saying I don't condone adultery.

LOL Yeah I think that the baby is like six months old. I know he did buy her a 4mill ring. Would you have left him or stayed for the marriage and money?

If a man cheats on his wife, in my humble opinion he IS a dog. If a woman cheats on her husband, she is also. 1+1=2.

And do we know Kobe, really? Do you know he has been clean up until now?

I agree, innocent until proven guilty. Let's just not pretend he is an angel.
