Back to Work Today

  1. Well, with the birth of Molly, I took two weeks off to be with my family, and to revel in the miracle that she is. Unfortunately, today, I go back to work. This is my last two weeks before moving to Fairfield to assume my new position.

Of course, they decided to be "fair" to all the CRNA's in the group, I'd have to be on call my last weekend, even though it would not normally be my weekend to be on call. So, I'll be working for the next 12 days straight. And, in these two weeks, I'll probably have to work 65-70 hours a week. It took me the full two weeks I've had off to get to where I could get through a day without falling asleep.

Oh, well. I can do two weeks standing on my head. I'm done whining now. And in two weeks, I'm starting a GREAT job! Of course, after I get off from my last day, I'm drinking HEAVILY.
