Awwwwwww poor poor baby! :kiss I hope she feels better. Did you put some ice on the site, sunnygirl? We were told to do that with a former pet we owned when he got bit by a bunch of bees in Germany.

Last summer my baby girl Mazey led me straight into a yellow jackets nest, it was horrible. She was trying to bite them and they were attacking my head. I was running back to our apartment screaming and all my neighbor did was step back inside his apartment and laugh. I was so scared they were stinging me everywhere my husband heard the noise I was making and ran out to see what was happening and they started to attack him. It was just awful I ended up sticking my head in water and spraying flea and tick spray all over my husband and myself until they were all dead. My eyes was swollen and I had a horrible headache. My husband was red and puffy. To make matters worse we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us still that day to make in seperate cars because we were moving it was an awful day. I am so scared of bees now, but Mazey still chases after them and tries to snap at them, her tongue has been swollen several times.

Oooooohhhhh poor puppa dog! I hate bees. I have been stung 2x's in my life and they hurt like crazy....afterwards, the areas got very swollen and very itchy!

    I hope he feels better!

Our dog got stung by something at the beginning of the season too... her little lip was all swollen! We gave her benadryl too and she was better by the next day.

it's kinda bizarre....we've sprayed a bunch of little starter nests...but the smart l'il f-ers have built a nest inside the tubing part of my grill, the legs, i guess...they get in and out through the holes that are there for adjusting height of this amd that.....i had wondered why i couldn't find any nests i know...

Wasps love grills. They are buzzing around mine all the time. Is she having a systemic reaction? She sounds like she is in a lot of distress. Perhaps you need to keep one of the emergency bee sting syringes around. On forth of July a dog got stung around here and he went into anaphalaxis. Had to be rushed to emergency room just like a human.

That same thing happened to my dog Jessie (big dog), and it was my fault!
She has this stupid shiny red ball that she loves, and I was playing fetch with her. So I threw it in the backyard near the shed and it landed in a nest of yellowjackets. I saw them all swarm up and realized it, yelled for her, but she didn't listen.
It was so sad to see her get stung... she kept whipping her head around to figure out what was getting her.
She too zonked out on some benadryl and was fine, but I felt really guilty afterwards.
