i woke at 5:29 this morning, the time that she was born 18 years ago.

she's off at school, meeting friends for breakfast first. here they request a birthday meal and hers was for vegetarian chili.....

clemm, in my family we were allowed to choose our favorite meal. mine was always chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn. still is!

very cute that you woke up at her birth-time ...

    hello again.

marc got his stitches out, his suture line was good. funny thing is the resident thought i was the patient and wanted to remove my stitches. that was a little weird.

i spent too much at the medical school bookstore, but what else is new?

why did he think you were the pt? (do more women have thyroid probs? now that i think of it i rarely hear of men having thyroid probs and tumors etc). what was the extent of the surgery, sorry if i missed that particular post or posts. glad he is doing well - now you can quit worrying!

now what did you get at the med school bookstore? man, not my idea of fun by any stretch, lol!

    Good morning! :kiss

It still happens to be February 15 in the central standard time zone, though. I plan to do a whole lotta reading, as I have two major tests scheduled for early next week.

Take care and have a great day!

Thanks! I'd hate to sound self-centered, but I'll need all of the blessings I can get currently. I am enrolled in 17 credit hours at my local community college. In addition, I am working full-time as an LVN. Last semester I pulled off a 4.0 grade point average. This semester I am seeking to make it through while maintaining my sanity at the same time.

I don't know how old you are (edit: oops, I just looked at your profile, hee hee) but when I was about 19 or 20 I was in school full-time and also sharing an apt., so I had to work several hours too. I didn't have a car and I did home care as a CNA - I rode my bike several miles for 11-7 shift (this was in 80 so I didn't really have to worry about creeps, just TRAFFIC!). WHERE did I get the energy?? WHERE did I get my $?? And how did I pull off the grades I did?

I didn't even PRAY then so someone must have been, chuckle...

I don't think it's self-centered to want blessings and prayer for your success, especially if you want to use it for good

    Good morning all!

Commuter, good luck on your tests. I know you will do fine. I have a chem test next week and I haven't opened the book yet. I also have a 4 page paper due. Plans are to do that stuff this weekend. I dropped my anatomy. I was sick (still am) and I missed too many important classes. The prof understood but there's no way to catch up. I'll take it over the summer.

I thought I was beginning to feel better and then yesterday my ulcers in my colon started bleeding....severely. Lots of cramps and moaning. Pain meds not working.

I need to stop whining! This is my life and I just got to suck it up.

On a happier note, I will rent a car in San Diego. I'm scared about the driving but I'm looking at it as a learning experience.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Was looking at Paris, $179 from Boston - take it by March 28 - mmmm, don't I wish...

I LOVE to drive to new and exciting places. Just keep safe like you would at home, carry your cell phone, and NEVER go hungry ... can't go wrong.

You still haven't forgotten the brethin thing have you? That's okay, maybe I should change it to that. What do you think?

I'm excited to drive a car that isn't mine! Hope it has good pick up power because I love to go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds. Better than sex.

I printed off all the maps I'll need on mapquest with return directions. Border's is holding a San Diego travel guide and a laminated map of San Diego. I like to be prepared when I'm by myself in a new place. I'm so scared that people are going to make fun of me. I'm overweight and I feel like a pig. But, I'm sure I'll learn something about myself.

I'd jump on that Paris trip. Sometimes the last minute trips are the most fun. Paris is gorgeous in the spring.
