Attachments and firewalls

  1. As "The One of Great Brain" is not online tonight, I need to ask a question. Does anybody know if a firewall will interfere with an attachment I'm trying to post? I have followed Heathers' instructions, I have refitted the %@#% pic so it's not so huge, it is saved correctly, but it will not "attach" per se. I even tried with some other photos stored and none of them will go. Only thing I can think of is a firewall. Am I totally off base? Should I throw the computer out the window? Should I make this another useless poll? Thanks alot!

What does it do when you try to attach? Usually it will say if it's too big or not a valid file extension. What's it doing?

DO NOT throw the puter out the window! :chuckle

It has to be in one of the following file extensions: gif, jpg, png, txt, zip, bmp, jpeg, pps.

Usually when you save a pic with a program like Photostudio, it automatically saves in PSF unless you change it. That could be your problem.

I had to drop the firewall a tad (was on stealth) and enable cookies...thanks to all!

I really don't see what either of those things has to do with uploading an attachment.
