As seen on TV

  1. I know that I am not the only one out there who has bought or thought about buying something off those infomercials :chuckle

What is the latest "treasure" or "junk" that you have bought from an infomercial.

    I will start:

I gave the white light teeth whitener. I thought the price was reasonable and bought it. Well, about 4 weeks later of shipping time , I got the package. I tried it and it was a waste of my money. My teeth did not get any whiter BUT I did get a hole in my pocket and sensitivity on my teeth.Grrrrrrrr

    C'mon share you stories.

I also bought the Youthful Essence Microdermabrasion system ( a few months ago).........it gave me acne. Thanfully, I was able to get it cleared in a few weeks.

Hey Jess, you just keep buying the stuff and tell me if it's any good. :chuckle

I've never purchased any of the "As Seen on TV" items, and can't think of any waste of money items right off hand.

I'm sure there's been plenty packed away. LOL

, you were really committed each time you decided to buy these. I know that after you get them it is nothing like the infomercial.

I had my eye on the swivel sweeper, but I am not letting temptation get to me again

Hehe, but the swivel sweeper DOES look cool!

Are you a fan of QVC, Jess? When we lived in New Orleans, there would LITERALLY be a delivery each day for my mom. Boy, I bet my dad (and the mailman) were glad when we moved. They brought QVC up here a few years ago, and it's not AS bad, but still know the delivery guy by name.

Anyways, they had the COOLEST thing on a week or so ago. It was your own little breakfast machine. It could poach eggs, toast bread, heat the sausage, etc....I ALMOST pulled out the credit card!

Yikes, Liptoprin IS very expensive. It truly discourages you to try anything else. A friend bought it at over a 100 bucks a bottle, she didn't lose an oz.
