  1. Hi everyone !

Just wondering how my allnurses friends are doing Christmas Shopping !

Have you been finding any bargains? are you finished and just looking?

Is there an item that you can't find? Need any ideas for someone?

    Ok, ok! I need suggestions!

We have 2 nephews and 2 nieces. The nieces are sisters, the nephews are brothers. I want to get a joint gift for each sibling pair, but not sure what to get. (we're already hosting the Christmas event - AGAIN - and providing food and entertainment, and handmade ornaments for the adults and stockings on each chair for the kids - as well as presents for everyone. Yeah, we get screwed each year - did I mention that??)

    Any ideas?

gosh, why not rotate every year for the X-mas event, doesn't seem fair.

What are the ages of the nieces and nephews?

How about a Leap Pad by Leap Frog...educational and they have books that go from age 2-12. Plus, the parents would have to buy the books, and they're like 12-15 bucks a pop. A little revenge there.....hehe....

Serious though, you can get them in pink, green or blue, so you could get the pink one for the girls. That way it looks kind of different, but it's not. You can get them at WalMart for anywhere from 32-39 bucks and they come with a book to get them started. Very nice...got Emily one for X-mas.

It says ages 4 and up, but my daughter has been using it since two, and it really has helped her speech. Kids think they are really cool....

I like Kristy's idea about the Leap Frog game.

How about Toss Across, I think that would fit the age groups.

Another "revenge" game would be Hungry Hungry Hippoes, it's really "NOISY" !!

or maybe the most recent Disney video movie.

Get your revenge by buying something that will create a big mess and if possible, a disturbing odour.

That sounds neat. I just hope they don't have it already. We don't communicate much....

I just have to get 4 gift certificates, and we're doing that tonight. Hubby and I have a plan. He drives, pulls up in front, I dash in & out, he circles lot, and picks me up. No parking. No hiking through parking lots. No kid freaking out in the long lines. Then after that we're having dinner at hubby's aunt & uncle's house, and finishing our "Christmas craft" while the boys play on the new Playstation2.

My goal is to be all done, shopped, wrapped, and crafted by the time I go to bed Sunday.
