Rabid needlepointer here looking to find a way to create patterns via computer. Want to be able to color shade areas on graph paper and add differing types of stiches to try effect.
Anyone with ideas or know of prodduct on market?

I did a search on-what else-google for "computer generated needlepoint desigins", and almost all of the sites listed were part of caron-net.
Quilts have computer programs, and I think cross stitch does, too. If you found one of those patterns that was printable, you could try printing it on graph paper, or tracing the design on graph paper over a light box.
If you don't have a light box, use a small table lamp under a glass table top, or something transparent to trace the design. Once you've done that, you can fill in the boxes to adapt curves to squares. It's quite do-able.
