Anyone ever feel this way????

  1. I don't want to work anymore!!!!!! I love my job, I love nursing, I love my co-workers. I dunno, maybe it's spring fever, the weather is absolutely fabulous, about 90 degrees outside, Spring is definately in the air.

I don't want to go to work.........

But it's more than that, I wanna go play, go to the zoo, ride my bike, go fishing, lay in the hammock, have a friend over for a beer, watch a movie, go to thrift stores, redecorate my bathroom, read a book, listen to music, go to the lake with my best buddy, my dog, sunbathe, ANYTHING!!!!! But work!!!!

Feel free to add, what things would you rather be doing than working???

I would rather be riding my horse (which I am about to go do!). Work, finals, end of school year events (including the Derby) have laid me flat - I need a break big time!

That sounds like a well deserved break, go for it, enjoy it!!!!! :wink2:

I wish I were in Mexico getting ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo or heck already celebrating.

Yep... feel that same way every spring. Not fair, is it ? I love what I do as well... my patients, my coworkers.. everything... but when spring pops out it's like... ok... that's enough !

But I know it would only last for a couple weeks and I'd be whining wanting to go back to work again ! :chuckle

Wait for me! Wait for me ! I wanna swing, too !!!

Hey... go to a park and just have some real FUN. Get it out of your system. Spend a whole day doing all those fun things you're longing to do, no matter how silly it may appear to others. Or plan one day every month of doing JUST THAT... fun, outdoor stuff.

Your sig line is perfect... I live by it !!!

LOL...you guys remind me of my DH....he is a major 'spring fever' victim..but he wants us move/change jobs every spring....like cross the country somewhere...so he takes it to extremes definitely!!

We have made it a custom to take a long spring weekend vacation somewhere new so he can deal with his restless spirit!
