At the risk of sounding slightly more stupid than I look...what is a PK?

OK, I'll take a gander at this.... do you mean PKU as in phenylketonuria? And if this is what you mean, then the answer is no, I am not one.

OK, does this count? My mom got ordained last year at the age of 67. That makes me a preacher's kid now doesn't it? Even though I'm 43!!!!

How does this affect me? I'm so incredibly proud of my mom!!!

(BTW, in the online role-playing game world PK stands for player-killer--that is, a player who kills other players versus killing evil monsters).

HOw 'bout a PW (preacher's wife) or an EK ( elder's kid) I'd be both. Well, my pa in law considers me his child so in a way i am a PK as well. how has it affect me, well, I'm surrounded by some really great and honestly caring people who give me all the encouragement and support I need during difficult times.

    How about PW's (preacher's widow)?

Would that mean my kids are all PO?:chuckle

ARH! That makes sense, PK, preacher's kid...very clever. I myself am not a preacher's kid, but I had a very good friend in high school who was. He was going to forgo college for bible school because he felt that if he only learned more he would believe in all of it and his dad would be more hip to him. Weird. Last time I heard from him he was enlisting. Such is life I suppose. I always felt so sad for him that he suffered so much because he didn't believe what his father believed.

Preachers Kids are usually bad news,

I partied with one back in the summer of 1994--he helped me get my kid sister drunk (on Zima's--she had 4)! And he was/is such a HOTTIE!!!! I wanted him bad!
I was also really good friends with a "PK" in high school. It ended when his father forbid him to be friends with me because I wore jeans and make up

I miss him. It was a shame, because it was honestly the only truly platonic relationship I've ever had with a guy.
