what a shocker. Do you just not like him, or do you find him offensive?
  5. by SmilingBluEyes
I find him very abrasive. Why a "shocker"? Surprisingly, I am probably NOT what you think I am.....I am neither liberal or conservative. I go with my gut on the issues, and I find this particular man abrasive and annoying. That is simple as that.

A slam? no.its a bit of sarcasm though. Based on your signature, I figured you for an staunch liberal who wouldn't be a fan of O'Reilly

you figured wrong. ask anyone here who has read my way too many darn many posts. ( I know I am a big mouth). Politics are more complicated than left or right for some of us. How about we forget generalizations and try to get to know people. Assumptions are dangerous and unfair.

It wasn't an assumption, it was an educated guess based on you having a political figure cast in a negative ligh on your signature.

I stand corrected, and would gladly shake your hand, good night.

I agree with your estimation of politics, I put myself in a similar category. Niether left or right, or maybe , left and right.

That man is an embarassment to decent conservatives.

The heart of good politics is conversation and compromise. Differences of opinion enrich public discource in exactly the same way that different genetic material enriches the species overall.

O'Reilly shoots conversation in the face. He might be entertaining and give conservatives a feeling of power, but he's not good for the process.

O'Reilly is not too bad....he is a bit abrasive at times, a bit liberal on some social issues...and conservative on others..../ I used to enjoy him more before he became "famous".....but I do watch him when I am at home during his show........also catch him on the radio once in a while.
