Any one else see JAG tonight?

  1. OK, it was a little hokie, but it was dedicated to nurses, and I thought it was really very sweet.

Only thing that REALLY ticked me off was when the older man said that if the nurse that died had been a man, he would have gotten a silver star for what they did!

Overall, the most positive thing I've seen about nurses in a long time.

And, is the actress that plays Colonel McKensie pregnant??? Sorry, can't remember her name.

Yes, I agree ... it was REALLY hokie, but I definitely appreciated the sentiment behind the show. They were obviously trying to support nursing and recruit more people to the profession. It could be nit-picked to death, but I hope people will not do that. They deserve a lot of credit for being so supportive and appreciative of nursing.

Yes, Catherine Bell is pregnant. They've been doing a pretty good job of concealing it in previous episodes, but just couldn't hide it last night. That's OK, too. I'm sure the audience can "play along with it."

I also caught parts of the show. Suspect a producer/writer read Elizabeth Norman's " We Band of Angels" about WWII nurses on Battan.....great read and makes you enthuiastic about nursing again.

Hid morphine and quinine by disquising as makeup (if remember right) knowing that enemy would not be interested in those products. 1 RN to 2000 men....amazing story!
