Just be yourself and do some nice things for Dad that day. I wager that is all he would want; to be honored and remembered. If youneed to do something monetary, a gift certificate from a favorite book store or sporting goods outlet is a nice thing to do. Good luck.

My dad's impossible to shop for -- he's always buying everything he needs, he's an avid golfer but there are only so many golf shirts and golf balls you can buy a person. So this year I gave him a subscription to Netflix (a service where you can rent DVDs online, keep as long as you want with no late fees and return in postage-paid envelopes ---www.netflix.com). You can get a subscription fo however many months you want (at $20 per). Don't know how he'll like it yet, but he does love to watch movies.... As for hubby, I'm off the hook this year since he's away for the summer (thanks a lot, Army)

Write a poem or a letter! It will mean much.

I bought my husband what he's always wanted: a Freedom Arms 454 Casull.

My dad just sent me his Amazon.com wish list, so that made it easy!! Otherwise, he is a hard one to shop for too. For my husband I got a new summerweight bathrobe. The kids are going to make home-made chocolate covered cashews for him (with a little help of course!)

Does your father collect anything? Maybe you could add something to his collection.
