My daughter has taped or purchased "Red Dwarf" and "Doctor WHO". If she doesn't have them all she has most. We've enjoyed them together.

PBS has some good ones, so does the BBC channel. I like the above what rebel posted & Keeping up Appearances & also the show called "The office".

I too, love all the Brit comedies - AbFab, Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearances, As Time Goes By. And another called the Vicar of Dibley.

When we were in London in 1999 we also got hooked on a night-time soap called "The Eastenders". We stayed in London for 7 days before moving on to Scotland and by the end of those 7 days we knew most of the characters and story lines. I wouldn't mind seeing that show again - and I'm not much of a soap fan.

I go home on holiday, get hooked on the newer comedies and then wait and wait and wait..... One day they will be in the US!

    passing thru:

For a while there comedy central was showing abfab....our cable company sucks when they reworked the digital package we lost bbc in america!

Also like Vicar of Dibley, Doctor Who (did anyone see when Roger Daltry made guest appearances on Highlander? For a moment I thought Dr. Who had come to the Highlands.....) Or the episode with the druids? If you look reallyyyy closely one is picking his/her nose! Red Dwarf is hysterical. Totally into "eastenders" thought Grant was yummy! Couldn't relate to alot of the newer characters....

And lets not forget "Black Adder" any Rowan Atkinson thing for that matter.....

may have to relocate to Britian!
