any Elvis fanatics out there? got a question for you.

  1. Do you know how to make an Elvis style peanutbutter and banana sandwhich? I have done the search thing and I can find plenty of reference to it but no recipe.

But Vegas he couldn't be...he's one of my parent's neighbors...hmmm, although he only wears his getup on the weekend before his shows...

That guy is a NUT I can't imagine having them everywhere

Well, the Elvis I see at Walmart is usually there with Marilyn Monroe. He's actually pretty nice, he was buying some jumper cables for his car and some other stuff and let me in front of him because I only had one item. Marilyn isn't always too friendly, I think she thinks I want him.

Yes, they are EVERYWHERE in this city and don't you DARE make fun of them - they take themselves EXTREMELY seriously. :chuckle

But, I will definitely ask him about the sandwich next time I see him.

I thought I'd read somewhere that Elvis'd fry the PB & B sandwich in an ENTIRE stick of butter--

Well, his maid fried it in butter - she was on David Letterman a LONGGGGG time ago when he came on at 10 am in the morning. She said the King liked it fried in a lotta butter - just like how you grill a grilled cheese except no cheese. I just can't remember if she said she also fried the bananas in the butter or not.

Well I'm an Elvis Lover, not a fanatic. I was weaned on Elvis.

Anyway, we have an Elvis who lives down the street. He goes to all the parades and sings. He's really cool!
