Really? I didn't even know she was working on a 5th book. Yay! (Whatever you do, do NOT tell me the plot. I have no idea when I'm going to get to it.) Thanks for the info, though!

WooooooHoooooo!! I just hope I can find some time to read it!! Do you think they'll go back to Scotland? I can hardly remember how the last one ends. I don't care what you say though, nothing could be as good as the first two books.

Mine is already ordered as of Saturday. Now, let's hope I get it before any more anthrax screws up the mail any more! All I get now are bills and junk flyers/catalogs, nothing in any envelopes w/o windows. I have Veterans day off and my kids don't, maybe I can read it then!! 900 pages? Only if there aren't too many new characters to remember.

The only way to keep track of the characters is w/the Outlandish Companion--and that only goes to book 4. It does translate the Gaelic, though.

At the end of bk4, they were all @ the clan gathering, and Roger had disclosed Franks letter.

    An early Christmas present!!

The Outlander--it takes about 40-50 pages to bond, but once you do....uh-oh!

Wouldn't it make a fantastic mini-series. What do you think of Liam Neeson for Jamie??(Rob roy roll- long hair etc)

The Gabaldon fans have several sites--one is a chat group on Yahoo. There are links there to whom they would like to see playing various roles.

How did you do w/ Outlander, Cargal?

Bout time she came out with another book, was supposed to be out in January this year! She's working on a murder mystery too. I don't usually go for romance novel type books, but a friend of mine said you have got to read this and I did and fell in love with her writing style. While she and Stephen King certainly have different styles and different subject matter, they both have the wonderful ability to take you to wherever their characters are, you can see, feel taste, smell everything that is going on. I read very quickly so Diana's books are wonderful, I feel like I got my money's worth out of them

Liam Neeson is nowhere near sexy enough for Jamie. I've been wracking my brain, I'm not sure "Jamie" is around yet. But I can tell you this...the only way I'll ever marry again is if I find him!!!!
I'm supposed to be picking up "The Fiery Cross" today!!! I'm so excited!!!
    Happy reading!

I am not sure who I would cast as Jamie either, but I confess I love him!!

OK, my washer is on it's last legs and the dryer broke down, so off to the laundromat I went with the unopened book! All I can say is I LOVE IT already!! I love her writing, you can see how much she has grown, well worth the wait!! I am only 20 pages into it, but already sitting there smiling and chuckling like an goofball.

I have discovered I love the laundromat, not only can I do all my loads at once, but the phone doesn't riung, no kids up my butt, and peace and quiet to read!
