Any American Idol Fans on board here at

  1. hey american idol fans you! whose your favorite performer so far, and who do you think will become the american idol winner?

my vote is on justin guarini! :kiss what a looker he is with a velvety smooth singing voice to match. he's definitely got that whole charisma thing down pat. he can sing the alphabet and i'd be smitten by him. i wish him all the best!

also...who is your favorite and worst judge?

    1. paula abdul?

    2. randy jackson?

    3. simon - with the "ba"?

my favorite judge is paula abdul! she's a great singer, dancer, very attractive with a lot of sex appeal, and has a great personality.

my worst judge is of course...simon with the bad attitude (ba). i rest my case with that man. he's good looking, and someone i would probably go out with if it weren't for his "ba". clean it up ol' boy!

    Hey cheerfuldoer---

I love that show. I missed last night, and evidently there was some kind of crisis (I saw the comercials). What happened?

I agree, I really like Justin---I love his hair. I also really like Ryan (I think that is how you spell her name)

I agree with you on the judges too. Randy just kind of sits there, he isn't very interesting.

Did you watch Pop Stars? Several of the contestants on American Idol were on that show last season.

Oh, I forgot to add something---I really like James too. I didn't like him at first, but the more that they showed him signing to his parents and his video journal talking about his wish that his parents would be able to hear him sing, the more I liked him. I know, I know---I'm a sucker for a sappy story.

I have to agree that Justin is great, but... he's right here from my area and there have been quite a few interviews with him since the show started and each time he gives a new one he seems to be getting a little more arrogant. I sure hope he doesn't get too big of an ego because it will detract from his talent and may turn some people off.
Ar for the judges, I love Paula. She seems to understand what the people are going through and is compassionate but also honest without being brutal like Simon. I don't understand how he can live with his pompous self!

i think that last nights "fight" was totally set up. I believe that they had the disagreement but it looked a little too played out. Of course it is Simon's show. I like Simon, but I do think that his comments are a smidqe on the brutal side. Paula is always nice. I don't know if I have a favorite performer. I will have to see and decide when all 10 are picked.
What happened last night? I missed it!

Some of those performers, I had to turn down the volume of my TV. Since when do you have to screech and scream a song? I love it when the judges give it to 'em!

    When is it on again?

Ooh, I like Justin G too. He definitely has sex appeal and can sing.

Last nights fight was bad! They ragged on everyone, except for maybe 2 or 3.

Although Simon pi$$e$ me off with his attitude...I like him the best. I like Paula and Randy too, but Simon better.

I can't wait to see who wins from last night!

I think the show's argument between Simon and Randy was I'm with you on that score moonshadeau. The fight started immediately after RJ Helton's performance. Simon told him he couldn't sing even if he was cute, Paula gave Simon a few words about being too negative and talking badly about the kids, and said he can't do that here in America, then Randy joined Paula in letting Simon have it. Randy stood up and told Simon that he can't behave that way in our country, maybe in the UK he can, but he can't come here telling our kids the things he does...blah blah blah. Randy was standing up towards Simon, Simon said "We can talk about this later...... And Randy retorted "No, we're going to talk about this now....we can take it outside...blah blah blah....THEN Randy sat down and the poor kid - RJ Helton - walked off the stage with tears in his darling little eyes. What a cutie! :kiss

The three choices from last night will be announced TONIGHT @ 9:30 EST for those who wish to join in.

Although I was not all that impressed with any one performer on last nights show...IMHO...those were the ten worst of all the 30 chosen so far to appear as our as not to sound like Gorgeous on the outside/pissy on the inside SIMON , my three picks from last night would have to be (and in this order): (1) Nikki McKibbin - the Madonna/Pink I see her. Great voice, great personalized appeal, sorta like a Punky Brewster type kid, (2) R J Helton...the one Simon and Randy were going to duke it out over, and (3) Christina Christian.

As for the comment made about Justin's ego becoming quickly overinflated in his hometown... What kid his age...especially among boys...does not have a superinflated ego when all eyes are on them??? I rest my case...:chuckle They all grow up eventually...well...that could be an overstatement on my part since I know men older than me who haven't grown up in that department yet. :chuckle :roll :chuckle

I watched a few of the shows and I really liked Simon. Some of those singers were so aweful that someone really needed to tell them that they had no hope. If they didn't, these poor misdirected kids would persue these crazy dreams and just waste years of their lives. I think for the first audition, they allowed too many people in, if the kid was okay they were sent to LA, but there weren't all too many who were great.

Well...I got TWO out of THREE correct: Nikki McKibbin and Christina Christian. My other choice - R J Helton - didn't make the cut, but I still think he'll get picked up for another young male group by some talent artist or record company. I was not happy with the third choice as I did not think Ejay Day had the voice or the look that I would pay for, but...who am I??? :chuckle

I wish all the kids the best with their singing careers! And...TA-MI-KA will most definitely land an acting career if nothing else. :chuckle

I confess, I am addicted to this show! I though last night went well....Jim was really never very good and EJ, well, someone else had to go. Glad they kept Nikki.

Anyone else fascinated by this show?

    Hello Enright

Did you see last night's show? I'm so glad RJ Helton is still hanging in there. I personally would like to see him win, but I have a feeling Justin will be the winner....of course, I love him, too. I'm like.......soooooo addicted to American Idol! :chuckle

I was glad that Nikki was kept over Jim, although I wish Jim well in his music career. I did NOT like when Nikki changed her style of music as she fits the punk style better than the smooth style.

I really like Tamyra Gray, and wouldn't mind seeing her win, too.

Now that Big Brother 3 is on the same nights as American Idol, I'm taping one show while watching another. :chuckle I'm such a big fan of most Realty T.V. shows it isn't funny. Can't wait for Survivor to come back.

What struck me the most about Tuesday's show was how good Ryan was. She really lights up when she sings...amazing presence. I am interested in seeing what the next theme is musically...because that could determine who is next off.
