Six months on, one would think that the DNA testing would have shown where it came from. Fort Detrick appears to be the hot favourite as the original source of the warfare grade anthrax, according to some reports. (denied by Washington) One ex- employee there has been "interviewed" twice now. Another appeared on TV to complain about incredibly lax security there. May it be too embarrassing to admit that it was homegrown?

Every country has their wackos, so if it is homegrown, we have to deal with it, hopefully they are close to narrowing down the source.
I did hear the other day that there has been another call out for labs to turn in their samples of anthrax.
You are correct, 6 months is a long time.

I have been under the impression for quite a while that they HAVE determined that it was homegrown. I wasn't aware we were in denial. I'd rather it be someone here; either way they're obviously a sicko. If they're here, at least we can deal with them by OUR laws w/o having to worry about what the rest of the world thinks/says.

I had read that a lot of our homegrown stuff ended up in Iraq (sold to them from some of our respected laboratories or STOLEN due to such lax security during the Clinton era), beginning their strains (however long ago that was...DNA will remain the same). .

I'm with Tracy, I thought they had said it was homegrown a while ago.
