another bad day...

  1. i am sooooooooooooooooo stressed out! Got another hate email today from the vicious aunt and added it to my other thread. Haven't heard from DH, missed his call and need his support. Tried to call my mom and she was too busy to talk as are my friends (finals coming up) I just feel so alone right now. Nothing to do but ponder my situation and look for some comforting words. I really feel like the world is on my shoulders! I will be glad when school is out, hubby is home, and my puppy quits chewing on my furniture!:chuckle

    Block those emails. REALLY.

And get the puppy in obedience classes....

And just know, when you wake up tomorrow, it will all look somehow brighter.

Why don't you just block her emails? You dont have to read that crap.

i haven't been able to figure out how to block them (it's a mac account thru apple) but i have been ignoring them and deleting emails from her without reading them. But this particular email was forwarded to me through my sister in law so of course i opened it....low and behold....it just wasn't the right time to read such a letter and i was quite harsh. My response was to not email me any more emails and that i have said my final piece...then i proceeded to tear the aunt's email to shredds with my rebuttal comments. Should have left it alone but i am at my wits end and too emotional & tired to allow rumors and lies to be spread about me.

You absolutely do not need this.

Promise yourself to open NO MORE emails from anyone but those who are generous with their love and support. Refuse to subject yourself to this kind of torture.

You need to start preparing your heart, mind, and emotions to be in the "right place" for your dh's return... not filled with animosity, confusion, and chaos.

The two of deserve only the best of each other. How can you give him your best when you are so tormented by all this "extracurricular garbage" ?

Please. Do yourself and your dh a favor, and read no more! Concentrate soley now on hte GOOD.. on preparing yourself emotionally for his return, focus on how you will make the most of your precious time together
and looking forward to each and every moment of bliss with him.

Think happy thoughts, and do not allow anyone to steal them away from you.

This is about the two of you... and NOT the entire clan !!! :stone

Don't let that witch effect your day. She is obviously a bitter old nag who needs to put people down to boost her own self-worth. I would email her, say that her accusations have been inexcusable and as such you will no longer contact her or read anything she sends to you. Then DO it. In the meantime, fix yourself a cup of hot cocoa, put a chick flick in the DVD player (Steel Magnolias is a fave for me), pop some popcorn and cuddle your puppy. Life is sweet. Don't let anyone else convince you otherwise. I'm so glad your dh is coming home. I'll continue praying for his safety!

i dont remember the initial post regarding your aunt, but i have to agree tht your time with dh is too precious to be muddled with thoughts of her. you have said your piece, and to dwell on it will only further aggravate you....put your energy int opositive things! ...and the puppy..well, they do grow up, or so i am told! have you tried bitter apple spray? works for phantom!have a nice thanksgiving! mary

The backbone of the home you see.
That's what the military wife is to me.
Guarding the fort while her husband's away,
Defending and protecting his country each day.
Though many forget the importance of her role in his life,
Please, Sir, don't forget the military wife.
The woman who primarily raises her children alone,
The one who strives to make a "house", a home.
The one who sacrifices the time she could share,
The one who has many responsibilities to bear.
The woman who is married to a protector of the world,
The one whose life stays fairly unfurled.
I say again, kind Sir, don't forget the role
    she plays in his life.
Yes, dear Sir, the military wife.
The woman who stands by her husband's side,
The one who takes life stride by stride.
The woman who wonders when he's far away,
The one who prays for his safety
and sends tender love his way.
Next time you look into a soldier's eyes,
Think of the one who stands by his side.
The one left behind, the encouragement in his life.....
The woman who's called the MILITARY WIFE.
