And you think WE are hard to shop for! (attention men)

  1. I have always heard men say that woman are hard to shop for...but you guys are even harder! What do men want for Christmas?? I have been told that I am a bad gift giver (according to my husband) I want to disprove that theory this year. What are great man gifts to give? Please share, even if you just say what YOU want this year, its still is giving me idea!

    Socks, t-shirts, sweaters, handkerchiefs...hehehehe

You might want to ask him what he wants?

I'm a handyman type person. Any type of tool is great, even stuff I already have. Cordless drill, socket sets, screwdrivers, etc.

If he's into books, there's always Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin, David Horowitz, and my faviorite, Dinesh D'Souza's "Letters to a Young Conservative".

    I hope this helps!

    My wish list:

Hell's Gate - The Battle for the Korsun-Schevchenkovsky Pocket

I've been wanting this book for ages.

    A set of ::

A set of tires for my car. A wheel alignment thrown in can't hurt too

    A DVD writer....

    OR

    A Hard Drive.

And believe it or not - some nice socks, some nice aftershave wouldn't hurt neither.

The best gift though is Mr. Ben Franklin

There - that ought to get you started All pictures are clickable.

I get DH anything hunting related. This year I've gotten him a set of knives with deer scenes on them and a camo robe (not army camo, realtree) and a heavy flannel coat.

A nice new driver or fairway wood, some good golf balls, a gift certificate for a few rounds at a nice course. Can't go wrong with free golf!!

I've been eyeing up this....https://www.asseenontvnetwork.com/vc...melxpr/137006/ (the complete package deal)..........Sweeeet!!

Being a pistol shooter/collector, a case of .45 ACP (Winchester "white box") would be great!! (Or his caliber of choice). If the budget allows, one of these would be EXCELLENT!!.....................

.......................................Or a new deer rifle if he's a hunter. (Or any hunting 'stuff' he may need or want).

I usually get a couple new shirts and/or sweaters from my Mom and Sister, and I always like that. (They have much better fashion sense than me:chuckle ).

Last year, I hit the jackpot, buying my guy a 60gig I-pod. He uses it EVERday in his truck and on his touring bike (used it from Seattle to Portland last summer on his bike). I have to say, it was the best present I ever gave him. He burned all his CD's onto it (literally hundreds) and I think now, he wants an I-home for it. That may be the next thing.......

He also has gotten tools and a really nice Craftsman tool chest in the past, he is a mechanic. I know when we get (hopefully) a bigger garage, it will be time for a new tool chest/workshop. His is overflowing.

    He also wants a powerdrill.

He is so easy to please.

Sweet! I've been wanting to get my hands on a Garand ever since I heard about it. All we ever got to play with were Lee-Enfield SMLE ("smelly") 303s

By the by, for historical rifles, the Russian Mosin-Nagant's are going real cheap right now.

By the by, the Colt 1911 is probably my most favourite pistols (besides maye a Webley Mk4... altough technically the Webley's a revolver. Maybe I should've said handgun?)

Ok ok. I'll shut up now....

To solve this delimma I always ask him what he wants. Usually it's clothes, cologne, books, or something to do with music. I've found out guys prefer useful things as opposed to sentimental objects.
