A Video Project to Share

  1. I was searching through my archived audio/video projects that I keep on CD or DVD discs and came across this video project I did last June (2003).

It's a video gift given to our Pastor in celebration of his 25th Ordination Annivesary. (The original gift was a DVD of this video.) Basically it is footage of the two church congregations that he serves as well as 25 years of selected photos his wife provided me for this project. Happily, I edited the videos (which I shot with my trusty Canon GL2 MidiDV video camera), the photos and wrote original music for this project.

Again. . . I just love doing this stuff. I just don't do it enough. Haven't done a project like this - well - since I did this project last June, 2003.

At any rate, I'd thought I share to you all this anniversary video gift. It's a WMV file and it's pretty big (about 5.7 MB's in size! ). You'll need the latest version of Windows Media Player program to view the project. I believe the latest version is Windows Media Player 9.0. Please let me know if you have problems viewing the video or hearing the audio.

There's no real title to this video. I guess you can call it: Pastor Jim Slater's 25th Ordination Anniversary video. :imbar

    Enjoy!

That is truely beautiful. I am sure your pastor really enjoyed it. I love the little white church. And the picture with the rainbows around the steeple...priceless.

That was very cool! Thanks for sharing it!

I'm Lutheran too & our pastor celebrated his 25th anniversary of ordination a couple/few years ago. It was neat...the Bishop came out & everything.

    Cool!

My father is an Episcopalian Priest. He'll be celebrating his 45th ordination anniversary this year! I just figured this out while reading your post!

    WOW!

Tims sure does fly! And the people you love the most are growing ever older.

(I sure do hope dad will be celebrating his 50th. . . and his 60th+!!! )

    Sigh. . . . . Ted
