a conspiracy against me

  1. i am becoming increasingly convinced that there is a regionwide conspiracy against me, and my shopping preferences...

seriously, it seems like every time i find a product that i REALLY love...the stores stop carrying it...it's happened with hair care products of every type and brand...face cleasing shtuff...(need stuff that cleans well, but without drying...wickedly combination skin)...the latest is this:

it is great for shaving, postshower moisterizing, massages...it is lightly scented, but not so much that it interacts with other scented products..not greasy...and it's cheap, and i'm not allergic to it...now no one carries it... at first i thought it was just out of stock at Wallie-World...now i have resigned myself to the fact that the Conspirators have struck again....the other body oils are either: too greasy, stinky, expensive...i may hafta resosrt to ordering it online...<insert heaving sigh>

Sunnygirl, I didn't want to be the one to have to tell you...

but you are the subject of an experiment in frustration, and every last person you know is in on it (I hear sometimes it's very hard to get things pulled off theshelves in time, when you drive up to the store). It's sponsored by federal government. Lucky for you, though, I hear the funding is being pullled...

Ahhh..... I love it. But then I usually use Skintimate stuff for shaving.

I also use Body Butter from B&BW for deep moisturizing... I have super dry skin in the winter.

So what have you been using on your face lately? I have wicked combination skin too, and it hasn't been happy recently. I've been using st. ives apricot scrub (the instant facial cloth kind) but it seems to be a bit too harsh.

Dood, you should have seen me the time I tried Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Wash.

Omg, my face was all red and blotchy and peeled for at least a week. Shagnasty.

So my skin is super-sensitive in addition to its combinationy-ness. Just difficult.

I don't know. I know benzoyl peroxide is very, very evil stuff, which is why I can't use most astringent preparations.
