I watched the show, was also glued to it! There was a pound of nails & other metal objects (guy couldn't figure out why he was constipated!), a swordfish through a face, a frog catcher through a face (sort of like a mini pitchfork), a javelin through the jaw/neck, a metal anchor in the back of the head, a 18 in diamond necklace (not swallowed!), 14in surgical instrument (the guy developed flesh eating disease from the bacteria), numerous drugs, one man had them sewn inside his leg!. There were several others, but #101 was the best! A 36 yr old man who was thin as can be, except for his stomach. He apparently had a big belly since birth, but it kept growing. Turns out, when they opened him up, there was about 33lbs. of liquid, but also his twin brother, who had, over the years, calcified. The fetus still had it's genitals, & 2 bs of hair that had fallen of. The Dr said the disease is really rare, but to have someone carry this long is unheard of!

    Wow...that is astonishing!

36 years old- he must have never had an x-ray...I'm assuming he didn't live in the U.S.

Yes, you're right, he didn't live here. It was in one of the 3rd world countries.

YES!! I watched this, and "Oh MY"! Why would anyone want to put a jar of jelly THERE???? We recently had a male pt. that had put a candle up there on Sunday, and still couldn't get it out by Thur., because it had melted! We've had a few candles, a yellow squash, a light bulb, a wooden block and even a Barbie doll head that broke off! It still amazes me what people will do to themselves!

Some amazing things I have seen in our ER includes Batteries in the rectum, very visible on xray! A plastic pepsi bottle from a female inmate, and many "lost tampons" needing fished out.
Still is amazing what one can find in the darndest places.
