"What is your favorite movie? New people on BB want to know .

  1. I know we did this about 6-8 months ago, but I lost the list I wrote, and now don't want to go back 8 months looking for the thread.

And there's new people on the BB who can contribute.

I need to know because............. we have a cold spell coming in as I write and I feel like hitting the video store for 3-4 movies and some popcorn balls from the deli.

Yes, it was supposed to be 101 today, but a norther is blowing in and because of the cloud cover, it is only gonna be 91 !

Definitely movie weather !! May turn the A.C. down to 50 and I'd wrap up in a quilt if I owned one.

Whoever contributed the movie , " Fargo ", that last time, I'd like to thank them. I really liked that movie. I watched it twice. I don't know if it was the story or all the ice, snow, and blizzards that appealed to me on a 98 degree day!

OK...I like comedies the best, but any movie has to be GREAT before I'll buy it on DVD and subject myself to constant reruns. Bearing that in mind, these are the ones I like well enough to see 10000 times:

    Analyze This
    Airplane
    Galaxy Quest

    In the Drama dept:
    Matrix

    Wanna get:
    Hunt for Red October
    Coneheads
    all Pink Panther
    Hello Dolly
    Gone with the Wind

Air Force One, True Lies, Men in Black, Death Becomes Her, all the 007 flicks, Star Wars flicks, Terminator 1 & 2, Jurassic Park, Lion King, Alladin, all the Austin Powsrs movies, Dumb and Dumber,

and that's all I can think of right now...

If there are car chases, explosions, guys getting shot and still bouncing back for more, and cute girls then I'll watch it.

But for really good movie watching I'll take a good mystery, some romance (don't tell my wife) or and old epic.

Hmmmm..... could it be...... Brad Pitt?

Seriously, I don't get the appeal. I recently saw a pic of him and Jennifer Aniston. Jennifer's looking all gorgeous, hair shiny, skin looking great... and he's next to her looking like freakin' Grizzly Adams.
