As you have probably already noticed, I'm the new "Co-Mederator" for the Current Events forum.
I was one of the many people who requested that a "Current Events" forum (not necessarily nursing related) exist. The idea of having a "Current Events" forum was important to me. Even though it may not be nursing related, there are countless IMPORTANT world-wide issues that certainly need discussion and debate. And I believe that in the process of discussing and debating these issues, we just might grow and learn as individuals and nurses. I said this to the administrators as an arguement FOR having a "Current Events" forum.
It was brought to my attention that there was hesitation in starting this forum because of a lack of a moderator. Silly me. I offered to be a moderator to help out.
The administators suggested that I send in an application. Silly me. I applied.
The administrators read my application.
Silly them. They accepted my offer!
My responsibility as a co-moderator will be to simply make sure that the "Terms of Service" (TOS) are followed as agreed by all members who use this bulletin board.
This includes language. . . please keep it "PG-13".
Aside from that, I plan on adding my 2-cents worth as a regular member of this bulletin board like I've had in the past. And I will make sure my language is "PG-13" too. :uhoh21:
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
My deepest respect to all of you!
Edward (Ted) Fiebke
