Democrats Beware of Osamahs' Use of You

1. I was reading with interest this article: It is the basis for my thoughts.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5394851/

This is the section that worries me about the comming election (it's near the bottom of the page.)

Senior administration officials and counterterrorism experts view the coming months as a time to increase vigilance out of concern that Islamic militants may try to replicate the political success they had in Spain with coordinated pre-election train bombings.

Nearly 200 died in the March attack, and the prime minister's ruling Popular Party lost to a rival who promised a pullout of Spanish troops from Iraq.

We have read elsewhere that the Al Qaida definately plans to attack again, we just don't have enough info to know when or where.
If he were to attack at a time that increased the fear of terrorism or heightened the anger many feel about the war then it is easilly possible that the Democratic party could win this election.
This scares me even more than Kerry winning!
We also know, from tapes of his words, that Osamah Bin Laden hates the US, he hates our liberal ways, he hates our apparent disrespect for God (yes, he says Allah, but even Bin Laden knows it's many names for one being). In short, Osamah Bin Laden and the Al Qaida hates the US. If we do not stop him, he will attack again. No question about it.
Osamah Bin Laden would walk all over us here, on US soil and anyone who thinks he would not simply hasn't been paying attention.

I'm not saying I think the liberals among us should not be allowed to believe as they do, but into the forseable future, we do not need a liberal in the office of the Presidency. We need a conservative who will do what is needed to protect us, anything needed to protect us, not just make idle threats.

Electing a liberal to office would be suicide and anyone voting democratic this year could be, in my mind, guilty of enabling the death of God only knows how many Americans. Vote Republican and save your country and it's civilian citizens!

Mr. Bin Laden hates ALL our ways, liberal, conservative, religious -- except for those few Islamic extremists who may be here.

And his God, Allah, is NOT the Triune God of Christianity. Jesus is only a prophet, NOT the Son of God, in Islam. Don't be fooled; Bin Laden has no love for Christians and would just as soon see us all dead in the streets.

IMHO, he hates us. Hates us with a passion. Plus he is convinced that by striking a blow against us, he goes directly to heaven.

People who support a leader other than Bush need not feel guilty about their choice.

Speak for yourself. Don't use "we" as in "we" do not need a liberal. You don't want a liberal in the president's office would be more accurate. Please don't presume to tell me what I need, or who I need as president. Thanks.

My vote is not based upon whether we are attacked. Personally, as we receive warnings ie: over the July 4th Holiday, I would view a bombing near election time no differently other than to view it as another tatic.

It's based upon who I think will better the serve the country.

Spain's citizens did not support the war in Iraq prior to the bombing.
I didn't support the war against Iraq from the get go. I didn't agree with Bush then. a bombing certainly would not change my mind.

From what I've read coming from Al Qaeda, they are truly anti-Bush and would like nothing better than to see the US and all allies out of Iraq and out of all of the Middle East for that matter.

Did anyone happen to hear the last audio message from Al Qaeda? Very anti- Bush. It appears they do want him out and why not, Bush actually goes after Terrorists.

I'm anti-Bush too. Does that make me a terrorist?

Good one, Gomer.

That is the point. The Al Qaida hates Bush because he is doing that which President Clinton only threatened to do.

Allah is the same God as our God. Christians part ways in basic belief by believing Jeses was the savior. If you take Jesus our of the equation as all of us who are non-christians do, you will see God is God no matter what name you call him.

That is the really scarey part, he believes he will get a "go to heaven, go straight to heaven card" if he destroys us and destroy us he will if this country lets up on the war on terrorism. Which will surely happen if Bush is not reelected.

I was not speaking for you. I used the collective we because I believe we, the citizens of he US, will loose many more people on our own ground if Kerry is elected.
The article clearly pointed out that the terrorism turned the election in the favor of those against war on terrorism.
I can only hope that you will at some time between now and November change your mind and I will continue to make every effort to do so in a polite BB.

On this particular subject. Care to share your thoughts on the article?

Why? Because, I don't think at the end of the day, Bin Laden et. al. give two shakes who is liberal and who is conservative, who is green and who is libertarian. We (non-Islamic) are all "infidels" in his mind and philosophy, then, worthy only of dying if we refuse to convert to Islam. That is how I feel about that.

Why would change my mind?

I thank for you trying to be polite. It's an improvement from your past threads and rude remarks directed at me. At least you're learning something.

God Deb, I am going to start sounding like a mini-you, but I sooooooo agree! Besides, I doubt AlQaeda would try the same thing here to get rid of Bush, when we all know a terrorist attack before the election would pretty much guarantee him a second term. It wasn't AlQaeda that cost the spanish ruling party the election, it was their own reaction to it (trying to profit off the deaths of their citizens by blaming ETA). Profitting off terrorist murders' should be a reason to vote for another party as far as I am concerned.
