...is OVER! MAC Studio Fix Lash is the BEST mascara I've ever used. It makes my lashes longer than any mascara I've ever used. It makes them thick but not clumpy. IT DOESN'T RUN OR FLAKE ALL... Read More

Wondering if anyone knows anything about mascara that works well with contacts, as in won't give raccoon eyes if I get teary at work. And of course will come off with oil free eye makeup remover. Cost really isn't an issue. If it works well, will be worth it
I used good old Maybelline water proof. It held up.

Best mascara I have every used is Calvin Klein. My DD gave it to me for my birthday and I love it!

I have probably purchased a metric tonne of mascaras. I had puny lashed to begin with, but after going through chemo not once but twice, they're even worse than before. I tried that 3-D mascara most recently, but it really irritated my contacts. I've been using MAC "False Lashes" which looks great but gives me raccoon eyes.

Clinique. NOT waterproof though - that stuff is hard to get off. I use brown/black. I have to be careful because my eyes/skin are sensitive to mascara so I really like Clinique products.

Not a huge fan of makeup. This is an old thread . . . .Moogie has been absent for awhile now.

Yes, but it's about MAKEUP, Steph.
I hardly ever wear it. I kind of feel like a dork when I do. It's like a big mystery...

Me too! I've had makeovers a couple of times in my life. The first time was with my mom's Mary Kay consultant back in the 1970's. I looked at myself and thought "You look like a hooker".

The last time I had a lot of makeup was at my son/daughter-in-law's wedding. She hired a makeup artist and I reluctantly agreed. To even false eyelashes!

I looked like a hooker. Went to my room and pulled off the lashes and washed my face.

One thing I really dislike is the painted-on eyebrows. It looks so unnatural.

I don't much like makeup either. Cakes in pores, ages skin, and I don't care how artfully applied, does NOT look natural. And I'm lazy-don't like putting it on, or taking it off!

I don't wear a lot of makeup, which is why I'm thinking of eyelash extensions.
    Anyone?

I have good eyelashes, but when I go out I wear mascara, and I sometimes forget to take it off when I get home.

I have a routine every night; wash my face with a soap designed to keep my face from breaking out. Brush my teeth. Go to bed.

    I don't like extensions . . . I look like a hooker.
