- 4Nov 19, '13 by Sabby_NC, BSN, RNGood Morning Dear Friends,
Phew it is wild outside with winds and temps at least 15F below it was yesterday, so I guess if the wind is blowing in the right direction I can save on gas and just get blown from house to house. LOL
I got great news yesterday over the article I wrote, I sent it to the NHPCO who want to publish it on the ehospiceUSA site for all hospices to read, my patients have no idea how much they inspire me when I listen to them.
Had an awesome day yesterday basically house hopped to see patients after leaving straight from home and after my last visit I came straight home, no office for me and I doubt I will see anyone there until at least tomorrow or Thursday.
Enjoy spending my time sitting with my patients and engaging in conversation, amazing lives that they have had and the things they have achieved is amazing and such an eye opener.
Will have some more yummy soup for supper and hubby will have some chilli I pulled out of the freezer last night to warm our tummies tonight.
Praying for those that were involved in the tornado's yesterday, so sad that we get copped with this devastation time and time again. Just makes me want to cry.
Hope you are all doing the best you can, enjoy each day and enjoy those blessings that come your way.
Much love to you all this chilly day.

I mean friends.
Still working on National Novel Writing Month, am about half way there (25,000 words) - trying to write every day but stalled at about 250 words on Sunday. Writing in my head but I always do that - it does not produce results lol
Had a pretty good time last Tuesday with a church get together for area preachers (New England area) - we hosted a fellowship dinner for them (about 100 people) and had some good messages. As usual I over extended myself to work 3 areas at once (snack area, ladies' tea, and the big dinner) - (shaking my head) - but it was fun even tho I was a bit overwhelmed.
This is a rough month, my brother passed away a year ago, and it has been on my mind since mid-October
And this will be the first Thanksgiving w/o my mom.
Dad passed about 5 yrs ago so he's on my mind too.
Hope you all have a great day!! I am going out carousing w/ a friend lol
(shopping, errands, maybe dinner)

Sabby- out weather was beautiful yesterday! It was a nice 65 degrees and I had a nice long walk with my puppy at the park. Today should be much cooler. I guess you're blowing some of your cold air my way!!
I'm working my 24 hour shift today. I have a good crew, so it should be a great day!!
TTFN!Last edit by EMSnut45 on Nov 19, '13 : Reason: Autocorrect decided Sabby's name should be Shabby!!

Had a relatively uneventful day at work, got everything I needed to get done, done. Always very important when you have a day off coming up, since if you get behind you have less time to catch up...
Went to bed early last night, was feeling unusually tired and sore, even though I didn't really do anything physical. Had some unusual dreams too, it was all quite odd.
Nothing out of the ordinary today, just work. Tomorrow I'll get the laundry done. Has turned quite cold here, and will probably stay that way for a while.
- 2Nov 19, '13 by Spidey's mom, ADN, BSN, RN GuideGood rainy morning. Well, I'm not crazy about the rain but . . . good morning anyway.
It is only supposed to last one day and then be sunny the rest of the week. I sincerely hope so.
Sabby - that's great news!
I still haven't opened up the box containing my MacBook Pro. Too scared. I might break it. Hey Ted, wanna make a house call and teach me?
