8Jan 19, '14 by bushamboMorning all. A special good am to Mr Do (Wah Diddy ) When he is late for the bus he does the Do Ron Ron. Nuff on that.
The much needed rain passed us by but other needy folks got it.
My engines are all god. I will have a new bigger one next month. Woohoo.
Paget is being very unsociable, reorganising one hind leg and elbow. Still, I am mobile and far better off than little Montana who is enduring chemo. Hard to explain to a 5 yo that the medicine to make you better makes you so sick.
Nothing planned today except get the car ready for a town trip tomorrow. 600 kilometre trip just to renew scripts. Like Davey, I have to DO it.
Seems to be a lot of you with colds etc so get well soon please.
Hooroo for now.
9Jan 19, '14 by Liddle Noodnik GuideQuote from bushambohi deah. How DO you explain ... God love the little ones who have to go thru this.Hard to explain to a 5 yo that the medicine to make you better makes you so sick.
Thanks for starting us off!
I hate the idea that it is Monday already somewhere but such as it is. My Monday will be clean out the closet day, I have been working on it for 3 days now. So far 4 or 5 big trash bags have come out but I still have no more room, how could that be??? My new strategy will be to take everything out and put it on the bed, and nothing goes back in unless it is a "need." (course we all know how object THAT is)...
But what is the big deal about a closet? how hard can it be?
well does the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe story make sense? I have all this stuff in there!!!! I have no idea how it all got there but most of it has to go! Mostly papers/filing/stuff that needs to be shredded...
hope you all had a fantastic weekend and Michael I hope you feel better soon!
8Jan 19, '14 by Davey Do GuideThank you So Much, Michael for Starting Off my True Morning with a Real Crack Up:

6Jan 20, '14 by Ted, BSN, RNGood Morning -
Michael - Holding Montana in warm thoughts and Prayers. I used to give chemo to lots and lots of people when I worked oncology (too many years ago). Never gave the stuff to a 5 year old, though. So, I never had to explain the "actions and side effects" to a little one. Hope the chemo is being kind to Montana; kind in killing the cancer and kind in sparing the worst of the side effects. As for "Mr. Paget". Wish he'd avoid Mr. Michael all together.
Liddle Noodnik - Seems like your closet is like our basement! LOL! We've been saying for about a year, now, that our basement should be cleared out of all this STUFF. Lots of stuff. Clothes, boxes, old computers, old audio and musical equipment that'll never be used. The basement is semi-finished. Well, we would like to "finish" it and make it into some kind of "fun room". Good luck in getting your closet cleaned out. Just think of all the extra space you have once it's cleaned!
Davey Do (Wah Diddy) - Just want to say Hi! So. . . . Hi! LOL!
It's 4:48 AM (EST) here. I'm off from work tonight (Sunday night into Monday) and off from work Monday night, too. Yes! The past few work nights have been busy. The second night, especially, was crazy-busy. I work for a teeny-tiny hospital that can see days and days of uneventfulness. Then, BANG! It's off to the races. Interestingly, it was all mostly in the E.R. The teeny-tiny ICU was closed. It's all what makes my teeny-tiny hospital so unique.
As mentioned before, I'm doing a video-taping project at my hospital. We have a Sim-Lab with a Sim-Man. The guy who manages our Sim-Lab and expensive Sim-Man is wanting to create a special video show-casing it all. It should be interesting. The Sim-Lab is small. It's also a bit on the darker side making it not ideal for video-taping. it's going to be a challenge finding room for extra lighting. I hope to do a 2-camera set-up so finding more room for a second camera will be even more challenging. I plan on bringing lots of stuff and will use only what's needed and what can be fitted into the cramped room.
Warmest regards to all who travel here. . .
6Jan 20, '14 by Sabby_NC, BSN, RNGood Morning Michael, Liddle, Davey, Ted and all who pop in,
Michael thanks for kicking us off this morning, you went all Roman on me didn't ya? LOL Continued prayers for l'il Montana and for your Mr Paget's who really needs to leave you alone. Praying that you also get some good quenching rains. It is frightening to read how dry Australia is right now.
Liddle I am a minimalist I can help you clear the closet out in a heart beat. LOL
Davey do wha diddy hope you have a great day and now I am going to have that song in my head for the rest of the day. LOL
Had a great hike with hubby and the boys, hubster found a baseball so we had the dogs chasing that around on the oval before we continued on, by the time we were heading back to the vehicle they were dragging. LOL But it was fun for us all running around on that oval.
Came home, did some cooking, got the ironing taken care of, did hair and nail maintenance before getting in a nice snooze, hubby and I both slept soundly. Oh how I love a relaxing Sunday.
Baked the pork chops for hubby, he scoffed one and then I made up two other meals that are in the freezer. Shall send him off to work with some beef and barley soup to chow down on for lunch today.
The people that collect our garbage wrecked our driveway and part of the front lawn where they drove the truck into the lawn and looked like that did donuts while trying to get out of the muddy mess. Hubby has left them two messages to phone with no answer so he will try one more time before we head to the small claims court because they need to fix up their boo boo.
Looking forward heading out this morning to visit my patients and see how they have done over the weekend. Doubt I will swing by the office today.
Hope you have a most excellent and productive day.
Much love to you all this day, now get out there and make it count for something.

You might also want to contact their Union. I believe it's called "Crossing the Line" when Sanitatian Workers do a Job that is intended to belong to Wreckers.
They could get in Trouble for that.

Sabby I hope you don't have to go to court
Morning Davey Liddle Ted
Quiet day yesterday, got up late, ran a few errands, saw dad then came home and did some cleaning. Even got outside for a bit. Today I'm planning on doing both the cooking and the vacuuming. Tomorrow it's back to work. Which will be nice because it means Friday will arrive more quickly.
Also been thinking about going back to Wisconsin. Since I've decided to stay at this job a while it's opened up my schedule a bit. And since last August's visit was kind of a disaster I figure I ought to go again to make up for it. No cheap motels, or sunburn, or quixotic quests for UW ice cream this time. But still very tentative.Last edit by Joe NightingMale on Jan 20, '14
