    Good morning Liddle, and good day to all who trudge in this Monday morn.

    We are to get snow and ice during rush hour. So up with the birds and get ready to go to work before it gets bad.

    Joe, you could have kept this storm!

    Good Morning Liddle, AKY, and all that slide on in,

    Liddle cute photo and thanks for starting us off this day.

    AKY please take it easy getting to work, we have rain coming down and they are talking about possible freezing rain so I need to check that out when it gets light.

    Hope you all had a nice weekend, I know I sure did which included a nice nap yesterday afternoon while I was watching TV, got all comfy then the next thing zzzzzzzzz. LOL

    Have a nice day planned with 4 possibly 5 visits today although I need to try and be home for our housing appraisal is happening this afternoon so hubster may have to get home instead.

    I am so sad over all the destruction that NE Australia is going through at the moment. They are experiencing dreadful floods at the moment. They only recovered from the same two years ago. They got hit with the after affects of a tornado.

    Then victoria and Tasmania have experienced dreadful fires which caused such devastation. My poor home cannot get ahead at this time. Please pray for these people that will lose their homes again. I just want to sit and cry for them all.

    AKY hope the snow isn't too bad.

    Sabby I hope the flooding in Oz doesn't prove too severe.

    Had freezing rain yesterday, so my sister rescheduled the party. Went to church, saw my dad, and stayed in from the afternoon onward, didn't really do much else.

    Had some problems sleeping last night, had to take melatonin, still woke up at least once during the night. Feel a bit tired and disoriented this morning, hopefully it will pass.

    Nothing special planned for today, except work. Going to be fairly warm for the next few days, which should be nice. Need to start reviewing my resolutions for the new year too.

    Hi Joe, hope you get caught up on sleep, you have been struggling a lot! I take 2 benadryl when I have trouble for a significant length of time and it konks me out w/ a mallet, gonnnnnggg...

    Ha. Our great snow/ice storm lasted about 1hour. Absolutely no problems. Thanks for the worry. I do hope it fizzles out before getting to you, Liddle. I love snow, it is the ice, especially black ice that I hate.

    It is so sad about Australia. I know when we had fired in Alaska it was horrible. Every summer caused by lightening and allowed to burn unless absolutely necessary to go in. I have seen some destruction by floods at my families' homes. Nothing on the Scale of Sandy and I suspect Australia's might be more that size.

    Joe, I have found Meatonin gets me to sleep. Benadryl makes me hung over. Some days it is easier not to worry about sleeping.
