    Good Morning! Everyone!
I'm Off Tonight, so, as per my Usual As of Late, I'm Playing with Computer Cartoons in the AN Break Room.

Right Now, I'm Reliving a Conversation with the Queen of the Good Morning Thread, a Great Chef, People and Animal Lover, and last, but Certainly not least, a Nurse Extraordinaire and All around Nice Person:
    SABBY!

Sabby, if you keep up this Act of Being Chronically Sweet and Optimistic, I'm going to find it Difficult to Have Fun near you.

See what you can do about that, okay?

Good Morning Davey and all who pop in,

Davey oh dear you gave me a good giggle over my l'il avatar, I look like some one out of The Walton's and I love it. Thank you for the smiles today. Thank you for kicking us off today with smiles on our faces. If you lived closer I would bake you a yummy cake for being so clever and artistic.

LOL Speaking of the Waltons hubby told me there was not a Jim-Bob well to prove him wrong I had to google their names and of course I was right. So I guess I took more notice of that show than I thought. hehehe

Great day yesterday with my visits, had no issues getting around until I got to my last patient, could not find their driveway but I made them one none the less. Hahhahaa slipped my way into the house but still got it all done.

Today will be a different story, I have one patient that I may have to hoof it in and out but that is ok as long as I get that visit taken care of.

Looking forward to our IDG this afternoon, always like to catch up with my colleagues and hear about their patients as well.

Tomorrow we have Breakfast for Braniacs so I thought I would make a Florentine quiche for them to nosh down on.

Enjoyed some fun with the dogs last night although I think they are getting a wee sick of the snow now, hard for them to find their fav pee spots. Today should be up in the 60's so that evil white stuff outside should melt nicely. Woo Hoo

Had trouble sleeping last night as each time I moved I hurt, remind me never ever to shovel snow again or decide to walk the dogs in snow, hard slog either way you look at it.

Hope you all have a mahhhvelous day, enjoy the improved temps and impending sunshine.

Much love to you all this day.

Sabby and Michael I hope you're less sore.

Morning Davey, like the new artwork.

Had some problems sleeping last night too, not sure why. Have a bit of a cough and cold, maybe that's why. Or the diuretic effect of these low carb diets. Or that I'm trying out my mouthguard again. We'll make some changes and see.

Work went fairly well yesterday, even got out a bit early due to all the snow. Got home at the same time due to train delays and sweeping off the car. Spent some time getting rid of stuff in my storage room so I'll have a place to put the old computer. Then I can get rid of the old computer desk and put the new one in place.

Making some progress in working from home, I have my shredder now. Just a few more things and I'll be ready.

Making some progress at staying calmer at work too. Just have to remind myself things are going well and there's no need to overwork myself.

Again, Good Morning! Sabby. Michael. Joe.

Thanks for the Feedback on the Artwork, Joe. But Nobody could do Schultz like Schultz did Schultz, right? Hey- and Progress is Progress! I know I always feel better when Progress is made in any Area of Concern.

I am So Very Pleased that I could make you giggle, Sabby. It's like Frank Burns said: "It's Nice to be Nice to the Nice".

Sabby, if you want to mail me One of Those Yummy Cakes, I'll be Happy to accept a Stale One Distroyed by the US Postal Service!

Sleep Well, Michael. And give the Teddy Bear a Hug for me, won't you?

You know, Elvis wanted to be our "Teddy Bear, don't you? But he didn't want to be our Tiger, 'cause "Tigers "play too Rough" and might Maul us to Death! (I Hate it when that happens!)

Speaking of "Playing too Rough", I think AKY's Sisters Played too Rough with AKY:

Poor AKY. I Bet she looked like this before her Sisters Scared her with that Snake:

The Things our Siblings did to us!

Maybe it's a Good Thing that Elvis didn't have any Siblings. He may have then wanted to be his Sibling's Tiger.

    We'll never know.

Well, Alright, then! Have a Good One!

    LOL!

    Cool pic, Davey Do!

    Morning Good!

Just woke up. Drinking First Coffee. Saw that it's snowing outside. Again. Got a $200 bill for plowing. (My driveway is about 1/10th of a mile long and quite steep requiring an AWD vehicle to drive up it during the snowy winter months.) Good to know that the snow and my money is keeping the local economy running smoothly. LOL!

Got some reading done in preparing for the ACLS re-cert class tomorrow. It's an every-two-year source of anxiety for me. I know the algorithms and meds. I usually pass the test in the high-90s. It's the live "Mock Code" demonstration that gets my stomach in a knot. You have to explain, out loud, the thinking process as you go down the ACLS algorithm. Now, I know that I'm full of hot air and that I like to talk, but I RARELY talk during an actual code except for what appropriately NEEDS to be said at the time. I can "think and do". But "think, do and explain" is a pain in the behind. Ugh.

Sabby_NC - our dogs LOVE the snow, even when it's deep. They love to rump in it. Actually, what they're doing is smelling and looking for rodents that might be burrowing underneath the snow. They act like great hunting dogs which they sometimes can be. LOL! Mostly, though, the sniff, dig, sniff some more, wag their tails A LOT, sniff, dig, and wag their tails again! It's fun to watch them play in the snow while we sit on the couch in the warm house drinking coffee! LOL!

Michael - Hope you're getting some good ZZZZZZZs now. Hope the back is feeling better.

Joe - Seems like you're making progress in getting ready to work from home. How exciting! I hope it all works out for you.

I see you, aknottedyarn. Hello to you! And, a warm "hello" to all who travel here. Peace!

Back to studying ACLS. Later on tonight, I'll be taking the on-line pre-test. Goody-goody! LOL!

    Good day all.
Davey, yes, i suspect I did look a bit like that, and even now can freeze at the sight of a snake. If they had feathers on their tails so I could avoid them, that would be great.

Well, I start my job today. I am about ready to clean off the car, put the good trousers on, I can't until after I drop off the dog. hair from both dogs will not match the black jacket.

Got to go, it is getting late.
    have a great day.

After we girls were on our own my Mom convinced daddy to quit teaching and accept a studio job. Studio musicians had to sight read perfectly every time because the studio and technicians are very costly. One mistake and that musician is never called back.
His trumpet is in many movies and TV shows.
This is my Daddy's horn: Waltons theme music in .wav/.wave format (548kb)

once I overheard a friend complain to my husband that his wife wouldn't have a conversation when she was watching the Waltons. he said, "I'd like to punch that John Boy right in the nose."

Davey: i LOVE the smilie! Not feeling fintastic now. Just got home from work. I'll nap and return later.
