What is your favorite Fast Food sandwich?

  1. 3 I love Whoppers from Burger Kingand I dislike the Big Mac
ecause it's so sloppy, and I'm not crazy about the special sauce on it. Besides, it's fried. Fat, fat, fat!

I like....big macs (and I cannot lie!) for the reason you don't: sloppy, secret saucey goodness.
My favorites (I don't have just one) right now are the charbroiled chicken sandwich (w/barbecue sauce), the chik-fil-a chicken deluxe sandwich (no cheese), and....the turkey and avocado from the hat. Yup, that's what I like at the moment. Oooh...and a beef and cheddar from Arby's, yum.

The best burger is from our local Frosty - it is called "The Pittville Burger". It is large, dripping with juice/sauce, has grilled onions and American cheese. Pittville is a little hamlet here in our valley named after the Pit River Indians.

For me, a sandwich has to be messy. Otherwise . . . it is a dry hockey-puck.

I think my favorite is a meatball marinara from a wonderful neighborhood deli in Oakland.

Whopper with extra pickles. And I like their Croissant sandwich with egg, bacon & cheese. And they have Seattle's Best for their coffee. Reg & decaf both excellent.

My favorite is a lightly-seasoned chicken salad sandwich with lettuce, ripe tomatoes, mayo and swiss cheese! YUM!

    (I'm hungry now. . . )

I drive through and get the southwest garden burger at Sunny Grill: Sunny Grill " Venice-Mar Vista Patch " Patch.com

It is on a whole wheat bun with spinach, alfalfa sprouts, avocado, tomato, red onion slice, and a grilled mild chili pepper. The sauce is some kind of vegan thousand island dressing. It is so big that my daughter and I share one.
    DH has a cheese burger.

What we do is kind of weird, I suppose.

We get a whopper with cheese, no ketchup, and split it. With it, we get one chicken salad and divide that too. We remove the grilled chicken strips, bag and freeze them, add a cut-up hard boiled egg to each half, more shredded cheese and some ripe and green olives,
and finish it off with either homemade bleu cheese or honey Dijon dressing.

Their plain side salads are nothing short of pathetic. All you get is some limp lettuce and a wilted tomato slice. Yeccch!

I like the Carl's Jr. Western Bacon Cheeseburger, which has BBQ sauce and an onion ring on top of the burger, cheese, and bacon. I'm not a huge fan of fast food, but I won't turn this one down.

I'm a fan of all fast-food sandwiches. . .the Big Mac, Double Quarter Pounder with cheese, Whopper with cheese, virtually any burger from Jack in the Box, Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches, Whataburger, cheeseburgers from In-N-Out, any sandwich from Arby's, etc.

I also like sub sandwiches from Subway, Quizno's, and Which Wich.

I like the Jimmy Johns vegetarian along with the Schlotzskys Original. Not a very big chain but I see it's in a few states.

When I lived in Idaho Falls there was a local place that served a deep fried pork tenderloin sandwich called the "Boss Hog." It was to die for!
Now on the rare occasions I crack, I go for an Arby's beef n cheddar or Sourdough Jack. And every so often, a Big Mac.

Cajun chicken club at Zaxby's, anyone? Though I think Zaxby's is mostly Southern. I eat at least one of these per week and it's always delicious!

I can't stomach real fast food like BK, McD's, Taco Bell, etc., but I'll get the spicy Italian at Subway or a beef n cheddar at Arby's veeeery occasionally.
