I still remember the internet before net neutrality was established in 2015. It seemed to work okay way back then.

so you weren't affected by the pre NN throttling of Netflix?

This country has never operated under a Democracy. This is not news. But it is disturbing.

I do remember waiting for Netflix to load a movie, especially if it was in the evening when everyone was getting home. But then that happened with any video, any platform. My area was upgraded to fiberoptic at least 3 years before NN and the speed has been great ever since.

I'm still waiting for the sky to fall since NN has been repealed. Not so much as an acorn here.

You haven't seen any acorns because the regulation repeal hasn't taken effect yet. It will take several more months for the repeal to work its way through the regulatory process, and several states' attorneys general are suing to block the repeal and those suits have not been resolved -- that may further delay or entirely derail the process.

There's no way yet to judge what the repeal effects might be.
