Examples of just how insecure the Internet is:

  1. Started a Facebook account. Yes, under an alias. Connected it to a Hotmail account. Hotmail changed to Outlook. I'd log out of FB, then into Hotmail. Every email I sent included a hyperlink= and when the email recipient clicked that hyperlink? He has access to my Hotmail account- every email I sent, addresses, all of it. Something is amiss. Never happened before I signed up with FB. They must be holding onto passwords, something. Any geeks in this audience?

    I don't know why.

Yesterday I looked up the address of a university where we attended a grafuation this morning. Now when I open ALLNURSES.COM I get ads and places to click in the university city.
    I think it is Google.

I use a program called Do not Track Plus. It blocks anyone from tracking you. YYou would be amazed who is tracking you.
    This is a free download.
Right now, it has blocked fasebook, google + twitter and 4 other companies. Google is the worst offender.
I do not have a facebok or twitter ac yet they know me.

You can turn that off. It's in the settings somewhere. I turned mine off because I got tired of stuff showing up in ads every time I search for something.
