How many of these did you eat in the last week?

    Me: I've had cashews (but not almonds, although I have almonds in my fridge I don't think I've had any the last week), avacado, berries, beets, broccoli, dark chocolate (I love the extremest of the dark 80% or higher), flax oil (not seed, although I have seed in my fridge to put on cereal), garlic (a staple in my cooking, but always cooked, never raw), green tea, kale, legumes, oats, extra-virgin olive oil, red bell pepper, soybeans, oranges.

    Not bad. For me though it's about quality of life, not necessarily longevity.

    Fess up.

    Almonds by the handful since I stopped eating sugar
    Mashed avocado with lemon juice as a sandwich spread, strawberries with cantaloupe.

    I enjoy broccoli several times a week, cabbage, mustard, turnip, and collard greens a lot, Trader Joes sells mixed greens already washed for lazy people.
    No flax this week, but sometimes I enjoy flax raisin bran cereal. Oatmealm is my usual breakfast.
    Garlic? I cook it with onions and peppers in almost everything.

    Love legumes, pintos, black beans, lentils, and black-eyed peas. For chilli I use tomatoes and mixed beans. Gotta have kidney beans.
    Used to hate beets as a kid. Now tolerate them.

    No more green tea in the years since I stopped using sweeteners. Too bitter. I like mint mate' tea. Chocolate mate' has some chocolate but what I really taste is the cinnamon.
    Spinach in a salad.
    Never buy kale but eat it is someone else serves it

    Berries, garlic (we put it in almost everything!) beans, salmon, spinach (straight from the can just like Popeye, or fresh in a salad---I love it both ways), oats, olive oil, and I loooooves me some dark chocolate.

    Cannot STAND beets, and I'm decidedly not fond of avocado or bell peppers of any color..........otherwise, I need to eat more of these 'super foods' and build a healthier diet so I can get my DM under control. Good topic, Tweets~

    Pretty much all of them.

    I eat steel cut oats with walnuts, flax seed, blueberries, and dried cranberries.

    Love avocado smashed up with lemon juice and on wheat bread.

    Beans of all kinds, galore.

    The only oil I use is extra-virgin olive oil. Lottsa garlic.

    Green tea makes my tummy feel weird though.

    Almonds almost every day - fresh, not cooked although I did buy some the other day, peeled and cooked in olive oil with sea salt and oh my gosh they were so good.

    Fresh spinach in many things - last night in my homemade soup.

    Love beets! Love love love them!!

    The problem is, as I've said before . . . . . even though these are all healthy, I eat too much of them.
